re: Like a castle in the corner... I interpereted it as the rook being initially unable to move as it is/they are hemmed in during the game's opening, and as circumstances evolve it/they become(s) more free to act. On a more personal note I remember during my last major relationship breakdown the chess analogies came thick and fast. I am enjoying the pod-venture.
